What is in the download

• A standalone Vite + React + TypeScript + Tailwind CSS project: src/tool holds the tool, shared pieces sit beside it
• package.json with exact versions plus a lockfile, so npm ci works

What the code does

• Items with SKU, category, location, reorder level, unit cost and sell price
• Movement log that updates quantity, refuses negative stock and keeps a running balance
• Barcode field that works with USB scanners: Enter finds the item or offers to create it, with quick adjust buttons
• Valuation by category, low and out-of-stock filter and a reorder list
• CSV import with header mapping and SKU upsert, CSV export, PDF stock sheet and JSON backup

Install and customise

The How to install and How to use tabs list the steps. In short: unzip, npm ci, npm run dev, then copy the tool folder into your own app if you want to embed it.

Good to know

• A browser-only tool: there is no backend or database in the code.
• Data lives in localStorage on one device; there is no multi-user sync and no camera scanning (keyboard-style scanners only).
