Install and customise

The How to install and How to use tabs list the steps. In short: unzip, npm ci, npm run dev, then copy the tool folder into your own app if you want to embed it.

Good to know

• A browser-only tool: there is no backend or database in the code.
• The model (about 25 MB) is downloaded from the Hugging Face hub and transformers.js from jsDelivr at first use; host both yourself for offline or strict-CSP sites.
• MODNet is tuned for people; complex scenes can need the colour method.
