DEV3 Esthelle is a free WordPress theme for aesthetic clinics, cosmetic and skin practices, laser and body-contouring studios and injectable clinics. It is refined and editorial: Tenor Sans headlines, warm stone surfaces, a charcoal ink, a eucalyptus accent with a champagne highlight, hairline rules, square corners and tall portrait photography in every section. Motion is light (split headings, reveals, counters, a slow Ken Burns drift on the hero) and it respects reduced motion.

Sign in to download it for free. There is no public live demo: watch the video tour at the top of this page, or step through the screenshots at desktop, tablet and phone sizes.

A consultation first, on every page

  • The toolkit's Photo Hero widget: one photo, a cross-fading slideshow or a muted background video, with an overlay, optional Ken Burns drift, a split headline, two buttons and chips.
  • A floating consultation bar sits under the hero: area of interest, day and time of day, then your details. No payment is taken.
  • A Results vary; a consultation is required notice is built into the footer, the treatment pages and every before and after pair, so the theme never reads as a promise.

Treatments, suitability and guide prices

  • Treatments in five groups (injectables, skin, laser, body, consultations), each with an At a glance strip for price guide, appointment length, sessions and downtime, an Is it right for you? panel (may suit you if / may not be suitable if), a step-by-step list and FAQs. Each page has a sticky price card and a consultation form with the treatment preselected.
  • Practitioners with a directory you can filter by name or treatment, an accepting consultations badge, qualifications listed as text, languages, areas of focus and a timetable, and a who is in week grid built from each practitioner's hours.
  • A live opening hours card with today highlighted and an Open now pill, driven from the Customizer.

Results, financing and aftercare

  • Before and after sliders in a results gallery. The demo pairs are simulated and labelled illustrative, and the docs explain how to replace them with consented client photos.
  • A price guide with dotted leader lines, a financing page with sample plans and a monthly payment calculator, an FAQ with FAQPage schema and an aftercare guides blog.

Built for editing

Every demo page is built in Elementor (free) with the DEV3 Theme Toolkit widgets, and 24 block patterns cover the same sections for the block editor. Colours and fonts come from one token file and sync to the Customizer, theme.json and the Elementor kit. Fonts are self-hosted. Treatments are described generically, with no real product or drug brand names, and never make medical claims. The demo photos are free-licence stock photos listed in PHOTO-CREDITS.md; the clinic, practitioners, reviews, skincare range, prices and figures are fictional.

How it's built

Architecture, stack, key decisions and the quality gates DEV3 Esthelle passed before release.

Our own free WordPress theme for aesthetic and cosmetic clinics: a photo hero with a consultation bar, treatments with suitability, downtime and guide prices, practitioner profiles, illustrative before and after galleries and financing.

The problem it solves

People choose an aesthetic clinic on trust and caution: they want to see who will treat them, what is involved, what it costs and that nobody will pressure them. Most clinic themes lean on glossy before-and-after photos and urgent booking buttons. Esthelle had to put the consultation first on every page, show suitability, downtime and guide prices without overpromising, label simulated examples as illustrative, avoid medical claims and product names, stay fully editable in Elementor, and do it with photography and light motion only.

Architecture and approach

Esthelle is a classic PHP theme with theme.json, built on DEV3's shared theme core in flat mode: a WebGL-free boot (smooth scroll, header, motion) and a build gate that fails the theme if any heavy graphics code reaches its assets. The always-loaded JavaScript is about 12 KB gzipped.

The DEV3 Theme Toolkit provides the post types (treatments, practitioners, client reviews) and the widgets: the Photo Hero opens every page, the request form takes consultation requests with the treatment preselected, and Before / After, Pricing, Calculator, FAQ and Timeline cover the niche. Each treatment stores suitability, downtime and sessions as plain fields that the theme turns into an at-a-glance strip and an is-it-right-for-you panel, and a Results vary notice is printed in the footer and beside every pair. The demo uses free-licence photos with a credits file, and its before images are simulated and labelled illustrative.

Quality gates and results

Esthelle ships as a free download with a one-click demo: 7 Elementor pages, 10 treatments, 4 practitioners, 6 sample client reviews, 6 aftercare guides, 5 shop products and 24 block patterns.

It passes PHP lint, WordPress coding standards (0 errors, 0 warnings), Theme Check with no required issues, the WooCommerce checkout flow and an Elementor editor test.

Treatments with suitability, downtime and guide prices

Every treatment shows a guide price, appointment length, sessions and downtime, then who it may suit, who it may not suit, what happens at the visit and the questions clients ask. Treatments are described generically, with no product or drug names.

Practitioners, results and financing

Practitioners have profiles with qualifications listed as text, languages, areas of focus and a timetable, and the directory builds a who is in grid from those hours. The results gallery uses before and after sliders; the demo pairs are simulated and labelled illustrative. A financing page shows sample plans and a monthly payment calculator.
