DEV3 Haven – Church, Charity & NGO WordPress Theme for Elementor & WooCommerce

DEV3 Haven is a WordPress theme for churches, charities, foundations and non-profits, and for the many communities that are a little of each. It opens on a dawn gradient with a split serif headline, service times with the next gathering highlighted and a Give button, and it keeps that warm, hopeful tone through causes, events, messages and ministries. Motion runs through every page, and there is one small 3D accent: a glass orb of warm light (or a globe of light) that breathes slowly in the hero.

Causes and any-amount giving

• Causes are a post type with a goal, the amount raised so far, the number of donors, a currency, a campaign end date and suggested amounts. Areas such as Clean water or Food & meals drive the filters.
• Cards, the cause hero and the donation card all show a progress bar that fills as it scrolls into view, with raised, goal, percentage and donors.
• The Donation widget offers amount chips and a field for any amount, with a gentle impact line under it ("Your gift of £50 could provide 25 warm meals"). The gift goes to the basket with the cause attached.
• Giving runs on a WooCommerce "Name your price" donation product (a virtual product with a minimum amount). The theme contains no payment code: checkout uses whichever WooCommerce payment methods your site already has.
• When an order is paid (Processing or Completed), its amount is added to the cause's Raised total and donor count.
• No WooCommerce? Each cause can link to an external giving platform instead.
• A Give page for the general fund and a transparency donut that shows where each pound goes.

Events and calendar

• Events have a start and end, venue, city, a price line, a status (on sale, few places left, sold out, cancelled, postponed), doors, ages and an optional ticket product.
• The calendar is a month grid with previous and next navigation, today marked and the upcoming list below. On phones the month becomes an agenda list.
• Each event page has an Add to calendar button, and the Event List widget prints Event structured data.

Messages and sermons

• Messages have a speaker, date, passage, duration, an MP3, a video (an uploaded MP4 or a YouTube or Vimeo link) and discussion questions for small groups. Group them into series.
• The message page shows the video, a waveform audio player with speed control and download, your notes, the questions and more from the series.
• The Audio Player widget can play any message on any page; the home page shows the latest one.
• Not a church? Rename Messages to Talks, or hide them.

Ministries, volunteers and visitors

• Ministries and programs with when, who it is for, where, who leads it and a get-involved link, shown on the home page as sticky stacked cards.
• Leadership, stories (tick Sample content to show a badge), impact counters, beliefs and milestones.
• A volunteer sign-up form (Contact Form 7) with pill checkboxes for areas, availability and consent, plus a contact form.
• Plan a visit with service times, first-visit answers and a click-to-load map: OpenStreetMap loads only after the visitor agrees.

A small shop

The demo shop has three categories: Give (the any-amount donation, a family food box and a school bag as gifts that give), Books & journals, and Haven goods (a mug, tote, candle and a sweatshirt in four sizes). Donations and gifts are virtual, so checkout skips shipping. The mini-cart drawer, quick view, cart and checkout are styled.

Motion, with one 3D accent

• Every Elementor widget and container gets an Advanced → DEV3 Motion panel: split headings, reveals, staggered grids, mask wipes, sticky stacked cards, counters, hover tilt, a glow that follows the pointer and scroll progress.
• The 3D Scene widget (preset Haven · light of hope) has a Light style (a candle-warm glow) and a Globe style (a dotted world inside the glass), light and deep colours, ring metal, motes of light, idle spin and scroll turn. It breathes slowly with no flashing, loads only near the screen, pauses offscreen and shows a poster under reduced motion or without WebGL.
• Visitors who prefer reduced motion see the final state of every effect.

Edit everything

• Every demo page is built with the free Elementor plugin and DEV3 widgets: Kinetic Heading, Magnetic Button, Donation, Event List, Audio Player, Post Type Grid, Hover List, Testimonials, Team, Counter, Timeline, FAQ, Allocation Donut, Contact / Map, Form, Product Grid and 3D Scene.
• The block editor gets 22 block patterns, from a welcome hero and service times to three causes, an appeal banner, ways to give, volunteer roles, beliefs and the latest message.
• Customizer: header style, sticky header, the header button (Give in the demo), 3D quality, smooth scrolling, cursor, footer and newsletter, shop and blog. The cream, terracotta, gold, twilight navy, sage and blush palette and the fonts (Fraunces and Figtree, self-hosted) sync to Elementor's global colours and fonts.
• A child theme is included.

Performance and accessibility

• The 3D engine (about 207 KB gzip) loads only on pages that use it; motion is a 6 KB chunk loaded on demand.
• Self-hosted fonts and no runtime CDN calls; maps load only after consent.
• Skip link, focus styles, labelled fields, an accessible calendar table, alt text on demo images, reduced-motion support, RTL and a .pot file. NGO, DonateAction, Event and FAQ structured data are printed.

The one-click demo imports "Haven Community", a fictional church and charity foundation: 12 pages, 6 causes, 8 events, 10 messages in 3 series, 7 ministries, 6 leaders, 6 sample stories, 6 news posts, 10 shop products and two forms. Every image is an original 3D render or typographic art (no photos of people, no AI images), and the demo audio is a synthesized ambient tone.
