DEV3 Forgeline is a WordPress theme for construction companies, general contractors, steel fabricators, civil engineers and industrial builders. It has big condensed industrial type, engineering-drawing details and smooth scroll-linked motion, with one small 3D accent: a steel column-and-beam connection that bolts itself together while a crane hook lowers the next beam. Behind the look is the content a contractor actually needs to win work: projects with facts, services, a clear process, safety credentials and a quote request.
There is no public live demo. Watch the video tour at the top of this page, or step through the screenshots at desktop, tablet and phone sizes.
Projects that answer the tender questions
- Projects carry client, sector, contract value range, duration, location, completion year and status (Completed, In progress or Awarded, shown as a card badge), plus the scope of work, the project team and a gallery.
- The projects portfolio filters by sector, with value and duration on every card. On the home page, featured work glides past in a pinned horizontal rail.
- Each project page has a giant title, counted key figures, a full-width render and a facts sheet beside the scope of work. A before/after slider compares a site before and after the job.
- A live sites list reveals each current job's render, sector and status on hover.
Services, process, safety and careers
- Services with a typical contract range, programme and a quote link; each service page is an Elementor layout.
- Process as sticky stacked cards that scale back as the next stage arrives.
- Safety and certifications with accreditation cards and animated safety and environmental figures.
- Equipment and fleet with counts and specs.
- Leadership profiles and careers: job openings with department, location, contract, salary range, closing date, requirements and benefits, filtered by discipline, each with an application form that accepts a CV.
Quote requests
- A project brief form (Contact Form 7) with sector chips, service, budget range, location, start date and a file upload for drawings.
- A quick callback Request Form that works without any form plugin: requests are stored under Requests in the dashboard and emailed to the site admin, with a nonce, a honeypot and a rate limit.
WooCommerce: PPE, site kit and hire deposits
- Three demo categories: PPE & Safety Gear (a hard hat with colour swatches, a vest by size, ear defenders, cones), Site Essentials and Equipment Hire.
- Hire products are variable by hire period (1 day, 1 week, 4 weeks). The price is the deposit, and a note above the add-to-cart button explains how the balance is invoiced (editable in the Customizer).
- Products use the 3D product viewer: colour swatches recolour the 3D hard hat live. The mini-cart drawer and both classic and block checkouts are styled.
Motion, with one 3D accent
- Every Elementor widget and container gets an Advanced → DEV3 Motion panel: reveal, stagger, split heading, mask, parallax, counter, marquee, magnetic, tilt, stacked cards, horizontal scroll and progress.
- Page transitions, an orange scroll ruler and a pulsing live-site dot are on by default.
- Three 3D presets: the Steel node accent for the hero, a drag-to-turn project diorama (high-rise, bridge, logistics hub, process plant, interchange, heritage retrofit, campus, solar and substation, with construction progress and time of day), and a kit and fleet object for product pages.
- The accent loads only when it comes into view, renders on a transparent canvas and pauses offscreen. Visitors with reduced motion see the final state of everything, and the 3D shows its poster.
Edit everything
- Every demo page is an Elementor container layout. The DEV3 widgets include 3D Scene, 3D Product Viewer, Kinetic Heading, Magnetic Button, Counter / Stats, Marquee, Hover-Reveal List, Timeline, Before / After, Testimonials, Team Grid, Post Type Grid, Product Grid, FAQ, Contact / Map, Form, Item Facts and Request Form.
- Theme building blocks (service tiles, the project rail, stacked process cards, certification and fleet cards, progress bars, the facts strip) are plain HTML widgets with Forgeline classes you can copy and edit.
- 22 block patterns for the block editor, from stats bands and safety rules to job rows and quote steps.
- Customizer: a Forgeline site info section (top bar, phone number, scroll ruler, the giant outlined name in the footer, the hire note) and Forgeline Options for brand colours, fonts (Big Shoulders Display, Inter Tight and JetBrains Mono, self-hosted), header, 3D quality, loader, smooth scroll, footer and shop. Elementor's global colours follow.
- A child theme is included.
Performance and accessibility
- The 3D engine (about 208 KB gzip) loads only on pages with a 3D view; the motion module (5.7 KB) only on pages that use motion.
- Fonts are self-hosted, and the OpenStreetMap map loads only after a consent click.
- Reduced motion, keyboard focus styles, a skip link, semantic headings and accessible names for split headings. RTL is supported.
