DEV3 Corvane is a free WordPress theme for consulting firms, strategy and operations advisors, business coaches, accountants and other professional services. It is calm and confident: Urbanist headlines, warm paper surfaces, deep forest bands with emerald and saffron accents, and real photography in every section. Motion is light and purposeful (split headings, reveals, counters, stacked cards, a slow Ken Burns drift on the hero) and it respects reduced motion. There is no 3D or WebGL in the theme at all.

A photo hero that sells the firm

  • The toolkit's Photo Hero widget: one photo, a cross-fading slideshow or a muted background video, with an overlay or gradient, optional Ken Burns drift, a split headline, two buttons and trust chips.
  • Inner pages use the same widget at medium or short height, so every page opens with a photo and a clear heading.
  • The header turns transparent with light text over the photo and solid once you scroll.

Services, case studies and results

  • Services with an engagement model, a typical timeline, a lead sentence, "our approach" steps, results and FAQs; each service page has an on-this-page menu and a booking form with the service pre-selected.
  • Case studies with client, industry, year, engagement length and services, the challenge, the approach, four headline results that count up and a client quote, plus a "next case study" band.
  • An industries archive with photo tiles, and a Results page grouped by service line with a sample-figures note.

People and booking

  • A team directory with live filters (name, service, office, language, role) and consultant profiles with certifications, education, languages and a vCard download.
  • Book a call: an appointment form whose topics come from your services, stored as private requests and emailed to you.
  • Engagement models: three plans with a Standard / Long-term switch and a comparison table.

Shop

WooCommerce styling for workshops (variable: in person or online), fixed-fee reviews and downloadable playbooks, with a slide-out mini cart.

Built for editing

Every demo page is built in Elementor (free) with the DEV3 Theme Toolkit widgets, and 25 block patterns cover the same sections for the block editor. Colours and fonts come from one token file and sync to the Customizer, theme.json and the Elementor kit. Fonts are self-hosted. The demo photos are free-licence (CC0) stock photos listed in PHOTO-CREDITS.md; all names, clients and figures are fictional.

How it's built

Architecture, stack, key decisions and the quality gates DEV3 Corvane passed before release.

Our own free WordPress theme for consulting firms: a photo hero slideshow, services with approach and results, case studies with counted outcomes, a filterable team, engagement models and discovery-call booking, built on a new no-3D theme core.

The problem it solves

A consulting firm sells trust and judgement, which is hard to show on a website. Buyers want proof: what changed for clients like them, who would do the work, how fees work and how to start. Most consulting themes answer with stock icons and vague claims. Corvane had to put real outcomes, real people and a clear next step on every page, look professional with photography rather than effects, stay fully editable in Elementor, and be the first theme on a new core that ships no 3D or WebGL code at all.

Architecture and approach

Corvane is a classic PHP theme with theme.json, built on DEV3's shared theme core in its new flat mode: a "flat": true token stamps a WebGL-free boot (smooth scroll, header, motion) and a build gate fails the theme if any three.js or WebGL code reaches its assets. The always-loaded JavaScript is about 12.5 KB gzipped.

The DEV3 Theme Toolkit provides the post types (services, case studies, team, client stories) and the widgets. Its new Photo Hero widget opens every page: a photo, a slideshow or a background video with overlay, Ken Burns drift, a split headline, buttons and chips. Case studies store their challenge, approach, results and quote as fields, so the single template lays them out consistently and the results count up.

Booking uses the toolkit's appointment request form with topics from the services; submissions are stored as private requests and emailed. The demo uses free-licence CC0 photos with a credits file.

Quality gates and results

Corvane ships as a free download with a one-click demo: 12 Elementor pages, 8 services, 6 case studies, 8 consultants, 6 insights, 7 shop products and 25 block patterns.

It passes PHP lint, WordPress coding standards (0 errors, 0 warnings), Theme Check with no required issues, the WooCommerce checkout flow and an Elementor editor test, and its no-3D gate.

A free consulting WordPress theme: case studies, results and booking with Corvane: DEV3 Corvane

A consulting firm's website has one job: help a busy decision-maker trust you enough to book a call. That means proof (what changed for clients like them), people (who would actually do the work) and a clear next step on every page. DEV3 Corvane is a free WordPress theme built for exactly that, with real photography instead of effects and every page editable in Elementor.

Who Corvane is for

  • Strategy, operations and management consultants, from solo advisors to multi-office firms.
  • Business coaches, accountants and advisory practices that sell expertise and fixed-fee packages.
  • Agencies and freelancers building a professional-services site the client will keep up to date.

Proof first: case studies and results

Each case study stores its client, industry, year, engagement length, services, the challenge, the approach and four headline results. The template lays them out the same way every time: the headline and facts, a results band whose figures count up, the challenge in large type, the approach as numbered steps and the client quote.

The Results page groups outcomes by service line, always with a note that figures come from past engagements.

The people behind the work

The team directory filters live by name, service, office, language and role. Each profile shows the photo, role and office, contact links, a vCard download, focus areas, certifications, education and languages.

A clear next step

Book a call is an appointment form whose topics come from your services. Requests are stored privately in WordPress and emailed to you. Engagement models show three plans with a Standard / Long-term switch and a comparison table.
