DEV3 Transiro is a free WordPress theme for freight forwarders, road hauliers, 3PL and warehousing companies, couriers and other logistics and transport businesses. It is built like a dispatch board: condensed capitals in Barlow Semi Condensed, concrete surfaces, asphalt bands, amber hazard-stripe accents and steel-blue links, with real photography of trucks, ports and warehouses in every section. Motion is light and purposeful (split headings, reveals, counters, stacked cards, a slow Ken Burns drift on the hero) and it respects reduced motion. There is no 3D or WebGL in the theme at all.

A photo hero that shows the network

  • The toolkit's Photo Hero widget: one photo, a cross-fading slideshow or a muted background video, with an overlay or gradient, optional Ken Burns drift, a split headline, two buttons and trust chips.
  • Inner pages use the same widget at medium or short height, so every page opens with a photo and a clear heading.
  • A hazard-stripe edge, a lane marquee and a network band with counters give the home page its logistics character.

Shipment tracking and quotes

  • A shipment tracker (theme UI, sample data only) under the hero and on its own page: type a tracking number and see the route, status, a progress bar and an event timeline. It never calls a server, so you can restyle it or swap it for your carrier's or TMS provider's real tracker.
  • A Get a quote page with a Contact Form 7 form for mode, cargo type, origin, destination, weight and ready date, plus the phone number of your dispatch desk in the header.

Services, projects and fleet

  • Services for road, sea and air freight, warehousing, customs brokerage, last-mile, project cargo and cold chain, each with a rate guide, a typical transit time, "how it moves" steps, performance figures and FAQs.
  • Projects with customer, industry, year, duration, the brief, how it was moved, four headline results that count up and a customer quote.
  • A fleet page with counters, a photo gallery and an equipment comparison table, and an industries page with photo tiles.

Crew and depots

  • A crew directory with live filters (name, service, depot, language, role) and profiles with licences, training, languages and a vCard download.
  • Depot cards for each hub with phone, email, opening hours and a map.

Shop

Optional WooCommerce styling for downloadable shipping guides and fixed-fee freight audits, with a slide-out mini cart and a clean checkout.

Built for editing

Every demo page is built in Elementor (free) with the DEV3 Theme Toolkit widgets, and 25 block patterns cover the same sections for the block editor. Colours and fonts come from one token file and sync to the Customizer, theme.json and the Elementor kit. Fonts are self-hosted. The demo photos are free-licence (CC0 or public-domain) stock photos listed in PHOTO-CREDITS.md; all names, customers, tracking numbers and figures are fictional.

How it's built

Architecture, stack, key decisions and the quality gates DEV3 Transiro passed before release.

Our own free WordPress theme for freight and logistics companies: a photo hero slideshow, a sample shipment tracker, services with rate guides, a quote form, a fleet gallery and a crew directory, built on the no-3D theme core.

The problem it solves

A logistics company sells reliability, which is hard to show on a website. Shippers want three things quickly: can you move my cargo, what will it cost and where is it now. Most transport themes answer with stock icons, a generic contact form and no sense of the network behind the trucks. Transiro had to show the fleet, the lanes and the depots, make asking for a quote and checking a shipment obvious on every page, stay fully editable in Elementor, and ship no 3D or WebGL code at all.

Architecture and approach

Transiro is a classic PHP theme with theme.json, built on DEV3's shared theme core in flat mode: a "flat": true token stamps a WebGL-free boot (smooth scroll, header, motion) and a build gate fails the theme if any three.js or WebGL code reaches its assets. The always-loaded JavaScript is about 13 KB gzipped.

The DEV3 Theme Toolkit provides the post types (services, projects, crew, customer stories) and the widgets. Its Photo Hero opens every page. The shipment tracker is small theme UI loaded only on pages that use it: it reads sample shipments from the page markup and renders a route, status, progress bar and event timeline, and it is clearly badged as sample data. The quote form is a Contact Form 7 form with origin, destination, cargo type and weight, and the demo photos are free-licence CC0 or public-domain images with a credits file.

Quality gates and results

Transiro ships as a free download with a one-click demo: 9 Elementor pages, 8 services, 6 projects, 8 crew members, 6 news posts, 4 shop products and 25 block patterns.

It passes PHP lint, WordPress coding standards (0 errors, 0 warnings), Theme Check with no required issues, the WooCommerce checkout flow and an Elementor editor test, and its no-3D gate.

A free logistics WordPress theme: shipment tracking and quotes with Transiro: DEV3 Transiro

A logistics website has two questions to answer fast: can you move my cargo, and where is it now. After that comes the quote. DEV3 Transiro is a free WordPress theme built around exactly that, with real photography of trucks, ports and warehouses instead of effects, and every page editable in Elementor.

Who Transiro is for

  • Freight forwarders and carriers: road, sea and air.
  • Warehousing, 3PL and courier companies that sell service levels and coverage.
  • Agencies and freelancers building a transport site the client can keep up to date.

Tracking and quotes on every page

The shipment tracker sits under the hero and on its own page. Type a tracking number and it shows the route, the status, a progress bar and an event timeline. It is theme UI with sample data only, clearly badged, so you can restyle it or replace it with your carrier's real tracker. The Get a quote page uses a Contact Form 7 form with mode, cargo type, origin, destination, weight and ready date.

Services, projects and the fleet

Each service stores a rate guide, a typical transit time, the steps of how it moves, performance figures and FAQs. Projects store the customer, the brief, how it was moved and four headline results that count up on an asphalt band.

The fleet page adds counters, a photo gallery and an equipment comparison, and the crew directory filters live by name, service, depot, language and role.

Set it up in an afternoon

  1. Install the theme and the DEV3 Theme Toolkit, then import the demo from Appearance → DEV3 Demo.
  2. Replace the demo photos with your own, and edit the hero slides in the Photo Hero widget.
  3. Rewrite the services, add two or three real projects and your crew.
  4. Set your phone number and Get a quote link under Appearance → Customize → Transiro: business details, and connect your real tracking system.
