A free conference WordPress theme: agenda, speakers and tickets with Summitra
Last updated

A conference website has three jobs: build excitement, help people plan their days and sell tickets. Most event themes manage the first, then drop a timetable table on a page that breaks on phones. DEV3 Summitra is a free WordPress theme built around the agenda, with real photography instead of effects and every page editable in Elementor.

Who Summitra is for
- Conference and summit organisers, from a one-day meetup to a three-track, three-day event.
- Festivals, workshops and training days that sell tickets and publish a programme.
- Agencies and freelancers building an event site the client's team will keep up to date.
An agenda people actually use
Sessions are grouped by day and start time, with parallel sessions side by side. Day tabs switch between days, a track filter gives every track its own colour, and a star saves a session to My schedule in the visitor's browser. Without JavaScript, every day is simply listed in order.

Every session has its own page with the speakers, an Add to calendar button and Event structured data. Drop the agenda anywhere with the Summit Agenda widget or block, for all days, one day, one track or one speaker.
Speakers linked both ways
The speaker directory filters by group and searches names, companies and topics. Each profile shows the portrait, role, company, languages and topics, and lists every session the speaker appears in.

Ticket tiers that sell
Tickets are ordinary WooCommerce products, so payment, stock and emails work as usual. The ticket-stub pricing widget lifts the recommended tier, and a comparison table shows what each pass includes. A persistent Get tickets bar follows visitors on phones.

Venue, sponsors and the rest
The venue page covers the address, facts, a map that loads only after a click, getting here and hotels. The sponsors wall groups fictional wordmarks by tier, with packages and an enquiry form beside it. A FAQ with FAQPage markup and a registration call to action close every page. All demo names, companies and prices are fictional and the photos are free-licence stock, listed in the credits file.
Countdown bar — a ticket-stub card with the dates, the venue and a live days, hours, minutes and seconds timer beside the main call to action.
