A free furniture store WordPress theme: shop the look with Oakhaus
Last updated

A furniture shop has a harder job than most: shoppers cannot touch the piece, so the website has to answer the worries for them. Will it fit? What is it made from? What colour is it really? What if it does not work out? DEV3 Oakhaus is a free WordPress theme built to answer those questions on the page, with real photography instead of effects and every page editable in Elementor.

Who Oakhaus is for
- Furniture makers and workshops that sell direct and build to order.
- Home decor and lighting stores with a mix of big pieces and small objects.
- Interior studios and designers who sell a curated range and run a trade programme.
Start with the room
The shop and every room open with a split photo hero, chips showing how many pieces each room has, and the room's collection. In the demo each room also has an Elementor page with planning notes, so the site works as a guide as well as a store.

Shop the look
Every lookbook is a flat lifestyle photo with numbered pins. A pin opens a small card with the product photo, price and link, and the same pieces appear in a Shop this look list. Pins are plain lines of text, so adding a lookbook takes a few minutes.

Answer the worries on the product page
- A dimensions table in centimetres with an inch switch.
- Material swatches for finishes and fabrics, and a Made from strip.
- Materials & care and Delivery & returns tabs, driven by simple product fields and Customizer texts.
- Fabric and finish sample kits as ordinary products, so shoppers can see colours at home.

Set it up in an afternoon
- Install the theme and the DEV3 Theme Toolkit, then import the demo from Appearance → DEV3 Demo.
- Replace the demo photos and products with your own, and set each room's category photo.
- Add your product fields (dimensions, materials, care) and swatch colours.
- Set your phone number and delivery and returns text under Appearance → Customize → Oakhaus: store details.

Oakhaus is free: sign in on DEV3 to download it.
Shop by room — five arch-topped room cards, each with its piece count, linking to the room landing pages.
