DEV3 Nocturne is a WordPress theme for nightclubs, live-music venues, festivals, e-sports bars and arcades. The home page is a scroll-driven 3D story rendered live in WebGL: a glossy black game controller floats over the dance floor while laser fans sweep through haze from a stage with a pulsing LED wall, all mirrored in a wet floor. Scrolling dives through the LED wall into an aisle of arcade cabinets running procedural games, then out onto a synthwave grid under a striped sun.

Watch the video tour at the top of this page, or step through the screenshots at desktop, tablet and phone sizes. There is no public live demo; the one-click demo import gives you the same site on your own WordPress.

Built for venues and arcades

  • Events with lineups – start and end times, doors, room, a lineup with set times, an age policy, a price line and a linked ticket product. Genres are event categories, and "Low tickets" or "Sold out" badges come from two categories.
  • Countdowns to the next night, and a featured-event layout with a 3D stage preview.
  • Artists & DJs – residents and guests with their sound and a booking contact, shown as glowing neon monograms.
  • Games catalogue – genre, platform (cabinet, sim rig, VR), players and price per play, with category filters on the Arcade page and a 3D arcade cabinet that runs one of six procedural games on its screen.
  • Lights on the beat – the scene pulses to a simulated BPM. An optional sound toggle plays a short generated synth loop only after a click; it never autoplays and is hidden for visitors who prefer reduced motion.
  • 18+ notice – a courtesy notice remembered per browser (not an age check), plus a VIP table request form and NightClub structured data.

Tickets and merch with WooCommerce

Tickets are variable, virtual products with General admission, VIP and VIP table options, linked to events by product ID. Merch (tees, caps and vinyl) uses colour and size attributes, and the 3D merch viewer recolours the item live when a swatch is picked: a tee with your print, a cap with a patch, or a vinyl LP with its own title and artist. The toolkit adds an AJAX mini-cart drawer, quick view, a wishlist and a size guide, and cart, checkout and My Account are styled for the dark palette.

Edit everything

  • Every demo page is built with the free Elementor plugin. The DEV3 widget category holds 3D Scene, 3D Product Viewer, Kinetic Heading, Marquee, Magnetic Button, Counter, Countdown, Pricing, Team, Timeline, Hover-Reveal List, Post Type Grid (with filters), FAQ, Contact / Map, Form and more.
  • Each widget has a Gutenberg block twin, and the theme registers 26 block patterns: neon hero, next event, programme list, set times, ticket tiers, VIP tables, games grid, opening hours, an 18+ notice, a lineup strip, a merch feature and the 3D story, cabinet and controller patterns. A site works without Elementor.
  • Any Elementor container can be a 3D chapter with its own camera stop, so the scroll story is built by stacking sections. Four presets ship: the neon club and arcade, an arcade cabinet, a floating controller and a merch viewer. You can also load your own GLB model.
  • Colours, fonts (Big Shoulders Display, Space Grotesk and JetBrains Mono, self-hosted), header, 3D quality and a Venue & night section live in the Customizer.

Performance and accessibility

  • The 3D engine (about 209 KB gzip) loads only on pages with a scene, and the scene code is one lazy chunk. Every scene, game screen and sound is generated in code; there are no image, model or audio files to download.
  • Quality adapts to the device, and the pixel ratio steps down below 40 fps. Visitors with reduced motion, Save-Data or no WebGL see a still poster, and the text always stays in the HTML.
  • Skip link, keyboard menus, focus rings, AA contrast on the dark palette, an RTL stylesheet and translation-ready strings.
