DEV3 Pulse is a WordPress theme for gyms, HIIT and boxing studios, yoga schools, indoor cycling studios and personal trainers. It is bold and energetic: uppercase condensed headlines, a heat-orange accent with lilac and volt highlights on warm chalk and ink, and motion in every section. The hero headline splits in letter by letter, counters count up, marquee bands cross in opposite directions and a heartbeat line draws across the page. There is one small 3D accent: a turntable kettlebell (or hex dumbbell) circled by a heartbeat line, beside the hero headline.
There is no public live demo. Watch the video tour at the top of this page, or step through the screenshots at desktop, tablet and phone sizes.
A hero that feels like a studio
- An ink hero panel with an open-now chip that reads your opening hours and shows "Open now · until 18:00" or when you open next.
- A split headline, Book a free trial and View timetable buttons and counters (classes a week, coaches, clubs).
- Floating "next up" class tickets with intensity bars around the 3D kettlebell.
- A top bar with today's hours for each club, a phone number and a free-trial link, set in the Customizer.
Classes with intensity
- Classes have a weekly schedule, duration, level, intensity (low, medium or high), coach, room, approximate calories, places per session and a drop-in price.
- A class types list on the home page: big condensed rows with a class count, and a poster preview that follows the cursor.
- Single class pages: a tilted poster, an intensity meter, a facts band (duration, level, burn, places, room, drop-in), what to expect and what to bring, the weekly sessions, the coach card, a health note and a free-trial panel.
- Class archive and category pages with filters, for example HIIT, Strength, Boxing, Ride, Yoga and Recovery.
A weekly timetable that builds itself
- Write each class's sessions once, one per line:
Mon, Wed 07:00-07:45 | Studio One. Weekdays, Daily, Weekends and ranges such as Mon-Fri also work.
- The Weekly Timetable widget turns every schedule into day columns with times, room, coach and intensity badges, category filters in their own colours and today highlighted.
- On phones it switches to day tabs so one day stays readable; without JavaScript every day is listed in order.
- A timetable teaser on the home page shows the week in day tabs with an intensity legend.
Coaches, memberships and member stories
- Trainers with role, languages, specialities, certifications, education, years coaching and a motto; each has a page listing the classes they teach.
- Memberships with a monthly / yearly switch, a savings badge, a featured plan and small print, followed by a plan comparison table with group rows, a highlighted column and a button under each plan. On phones it shows one plan at a time.
- Member stories with before / after progress sliders that compare performance numbers, clearly marked as sample data, and reviews with a "Sample review" badge.
Calculators with a health note
- A BMI calculator (metric or imperial, WHO adult bands) and a daily calorie estimate (Mifflin–St Jeor × activity level), each with live results and a plain-language explanation.
- A configurable health note ("For general guidance only, not medical advice. Please consult your doctor or a qualified professional…") sits next to the calculators and on every class page.
- The calculators give general estimates only. They are a conversation starter for your coaches, not medical advice, and the theme makes no health claims.
Workshops, facilities and a free trial
- Workshops & retreats with start and end dates, venue, city, the coach who leads it, a price and a places badge (booking open, few places left, fully booked, cancelled or postponed). An upcoming-dates list sits above poster cards with category filters.
- Facilities with a mask-reveal gallery and two locations with address, phone, opening hours and a map that loads only after consent.
- Free trial: three steps and a booking form whose class list comes from your classes, with preferred date, time of day and contact method. Requests are saved under Requests in the dashboard and emailed to the site admin.
- A booking app promo with two live HTML phone screens and plain text buttons, an FAQ and a Journal (the blog) with reading progress.
A shop for class packs and gear
The demo shop sells class packs, a day pass and personal training (virtual products, no shipping), a competition kettlebell with weight swatches from 8 to 24 kg, a mat by colour, gear and apparel. The slide-out cart, quick view, swatches, cart, checkout and account pages are styled in Pulse's look with a heat place-order button.
Motion everywhere, reduced-motion safe
- Every Elementor widget and container gets an Advanced → DEV3 Motion panel: reveal, stagger, split headings, mask, parallax, counter, marquee, tilt, sticky stack and progress.
- Cards lift on hover, heartbeat lines draw once as they arrive and the app screens animate into view.
- With reduced motion set in the operating system, everything shows in its final state and the 3D accent shows a still image.
Edit everything
- Every demo page is built with the free Elementor plugin and DEV3 widgets, including 3D Scene, Weekly Timetable, Calculator, Feature Comparison, Pricing Table with a billing toggle, Before / After, Team, Testimonials, Marquee, Counter, Post Type Grid, Request Form, FAQ and Newsletter.
- The kettlebell is a 3D Scene widget with object (kettlebell or hex dumbbell), paint colour, the weight printed on the bell, heartbeat line colour and on / off, idle spin and scroll turn controls that update live in the editor. Delete it and the 3D engine is not loaded.
- The block editor gets 22 block patterns: heroes, class types, a class spotlight, stats, a day schedule, plans, a comparison table, the health note, opening hours, locations, workshops, the app promo and more, plus block styles such as Ink, Heat and Lilac panels, Mega condensed headings and Tilted poster.
- Customizer: colours, fonts, header button, search, smooth scrolling, 3D quality, footer and newsletter, shop columns, and Pulse: top bar & studio for the top bar and the health note.
- A child theme is included.
SEO, performance and accessibility
- The site prints ExerciseGym structured data with your classes as the offer catalogue, and trainers' certifications feed Person data.
- The 3D engine (about 207 KB gzip) is fetched only when the kettlebell is near the viewport, pauses offscreen and shows a poster image without WebGL or with reduced motion.
- Self-hosted fonts (Barlow Condensed and Albert Sans), with no runtime requests to Google.
- Timetable tabs, filters and the pricing switch are real buttons with visible focus. No horizontal scroll at 390 px; tested at 1440, 820 and 390 px. RTL support and a
.pot file.

Documentation/: the HTML guide
The one-click demo imports "Pulse Studio", a fictional two-club fitness studio: 10 Elementor pages, a Journal with 8 posts, 14 classes in 6 categories, 8 trainers, 6 workshops and retreats, 6 member stories, 13 products, the menus and 71 images. The studio, its coaches, members, reviews and figures are fictional, and reviews and figures are labelled as samples. Class posters, trainer cards and covers are drawn in HTML and SVG with pictogram athletes, and the equipment and facility images are 3D studio renders made from code (no stock photos, no photos of people, no AI images).
