DEV3 Monolith – 3D Architecture & Interior Design WordPress Theme for Elementor & WooCommerce

DEV3 Monolith is a WordPress theme for architecture studios, interior designers, landscape architects and property developers. Its signature is an architectural massing model rendered live in WebGL. As visitors scroll, the model draws itself as a glowing line drawing on a site plan, builds up floor by floor in white card, resolves into board-formed concrete, glass and timber, runs a sun-path shadow study across a whole day, splits into an exploded section and ends at dusk with warm interior lights.

Built for architecture practices

• Projects portfolio – each project has location, year, area, status, client, team, credits and a typology, plus a 3D model design. The project index has typology filters and a grid or index view, and the visitor's choice is remembered.
• Project pages with a facts table, gallery, plans and sections, and a full-screen lightbox for drawings.
• Five buildings for the 3D model: a house, an office tower, a pavilion, housing and a library. Inline models can be dragged to orbit.
• Sun-path study with a live time, azimuth and altitude readout that is real text in the page.
• Studio, people, services, process, awards & press and careers pages, with Services and Studio members as post types and ProfessionalService structured data.
• Project enquiry form (project type, budget, timeline, site) and a careers application form on Contact Form 7.

A shop for books, prints and objects

WooCommerce is styled end to end in the same quiet palette. The demo sells books, framed prints and design objects, and every product has a drag-to-rotate 3D view: a book with a drawing on its cover, a framed print, a lamp, a vessel, a stool, a card model, bookends or candle holders. Variation swatches (cover, frame, finish, timber) recolour the 3D object live. The toolkit adds an AJAX mini-cart drawer, quick view and a wishlist, and the classic and block Cart and Checkout are both styled.

Edit everything

• Every demo page, including the 8 project pages and 4 service pages, is built with the free Elementor plugin. The DEV3 widgets include 3D Scene, 3D Product Viewer, Kinetic Heading, Post Type Grid, Team, Hover-Reveal List, Timeline, Counter, FAQ, Contact / Map and Form.
• Each widget has a Gutenberg block twin, and the theme registers 26 block patterns: heroes, featured project, facts schedule, plans and sections, materials palette, sun study, awards, press quotes, careers and four 3D patterns. A site works without Elementor.
• Any Elementor container can be a 3D chapter with a label, copy side and header tone; the camera path is rebuilt from whatever chapters the page has. You can also load your own GLB model.
• Colours, fonts (Hanken Grotesk, Instrument Sans and IBM Plex Mono, self-hosted), header, 3D quality and a studio & projects section (contact details, default project view, the faint column grid, the sun study caption) live in the Customizer.

Performance and accessibility

• three.js loads only on pages with a scene (engine about 208 KB gzip); both Monolith presets ship as one lazy chunk of about 15 KB gzip. Every model is procedural, so no model files are downloaded.
• Desktop GPUs hold 60 fps on every demo page. Quality tiers adapt to the device (shadow maps on the high tier only), and visitors with reduced motion, Save-Data or no WebGL see a still poster.
• WCAG 2.2 AA focus rings, skip link, keyboard menus, pressed states on filters, an RTL stylesheet and translation-ready strings with a WPML config.
