Publish

Publishing creates a public form link and a private manage link. Responses are stored on our server until you delete them (limits: 50 fields, 10 KB per response, 1,000 responses). Do not collect passwords, card numbers or other sensitive data. Forms with no activity for 180 days are deleted.

How to use the simple form builder with shareable link

Make a form, share one link

Use this builder when you need a contact form, event sign-up, feedback survey or quick order form without setting up an account. You design the form here, publish it, and get two links: a public link to share and a private manage link to read the answers.

Build your form

  1. Give the form a title and, if you like, a short description and a custom message shown after sending.
  2. Add fields. Choose from short text, long text, email, phone, number, date, dropdown, single choice and multiple choice. Dropdown and choice fields take one option per line.
  3. Mark the questions people must answer. Keep required fields to the minimum you really need, because every extra one lowers completion.
  4. Use the arrows to reorder. Put easy questions first and the longer free-text one last.
  5. Press Publish form. Save the manage link straight away.

Managing responses

Open the manage link to see responses in a table. From there you can:

  • Download a CSV that opens in any spreadsheet. Cells that start with a formula character are neutralised so a malicious answer cannot run in your spreadsheet.
  • Stop accepting responses with the switch, without deleting anything.
  • Delete a single response, delete all responses, or delete the whole form.

Good practice

  • Say why you ask for personal details and what you will do with them. The public page includes a short privacy note, but your own context helps.
  • Test the public link on your phone before sharing it.
  • Export a CSV regularly if the answers matter. Forms are a lightweight service, not an archive.
  • Avoid sensitive data. For anything regulated, or for forms that feed your CRM, email or payment flow, a custom build is the right tool.

Protection built in

Each form is limited to 50 fields, each response to 10 KB and the form to 1,000 responses. Submissions are rate limited per visitor, and every public page has a report link so abuse can be reviewed and the form switched off.

Frequently asked questions

How do I see my responses without an account?

When you publish, you get a private manage link that contains a secret. Open it to read responses, download a CSV, stop accepting answers or delete the form. We store only a fingerprint of the secret, so we cannot recover it. Save it somewhere safe.

What are the limits?

Up to 50 fields per form, 10 KB per response and 1,000 responses per form. When a form reaches 1,000 responses it stops accepting more until you delete some or all of them.

Who can see the answers?

Only someone with your manage link, plus DEV3 as the host. The public form page is hidden from search engines, and the admin console lists forms by title and counts only, never answers.

How are spam and bots handled?

Submissions go through a hidden trap field, a minimum fill time, a rate limit per connection and the site captcha where enabled. Visitors can report an abusive form from its page and we can disable it.

Can I collect payments, passwords or health data?

No. This is a simple free tool and is not designed for sensitive or regulated data. Never ask for passwords, card numbers or medical details.

How long is my form kept?

Until you delete it. Forms with no visits, submissions or manage-link activity for 180 days are removed automatically, along with their responses.
