This tool never checks whether a domain is free. Names and spellings are only ideas: confirm availability, and check trademarks, with a domain registrar before you commit.

How to use the business name and domain idea generator
Find a name worth registering
Good business names are short, pronounceable and a little distinctive. This generator mixes your own keywords with common prefixes and suffixes and ranks the results so the easiest names rise to the top.
Start with your words
Enter two to four keywords, separated by commas: what you sell, how you want customers to feel, or a place. Edit the prefix and suffix lists to match your taste. Words like get and hub feel like software; nest and works feel more established.
Choose styles
- Prefix + keyword gives names such as getbright.
- Keyword + suffix gives names such as brightly.
- Blend overlaps two keywords where they meet.
- Keyword mashup simply joins two keywords.
- Shortened drops vowels or trims long words.
Press Shuffle to see a different mix. Tap a name to select it, and tap the heart to save it on your device.
Read the domain spellings
For the selected name you get your chosen extensions plus fallbacks, such as a get or try prefix, an app suffix, a hyphenated version and an alternate spelling. Treat hyphens and creative spellings with care: people mistype them, and they can send visitors to a competitor.
Before you commit
- Say the name aloud to a friend and ask them to type it.
- Search a registrar for each domain you like. This tool deliberately does not check availability.
- Check trademarks and social handles for the name.
- Prefer a name that still works if your products change.
A strong name is only the start. Once you have decided, you will want a clear logo, a fast website and consistent branding.
Frequently asked questions
Does it tell me if a domain is available?
No. The tool makes no network requests, so it cannot check availability. Take a shortlist to a domain registrar to confirm what is free, the price and any renewal cost.
How are the names ranked?
By a simple readability score: shorter names, a balanced mix of vowels and consonants, and no long consonant runs, repeated letters or digits score higher. It is a guide to what is easy to say and spell, not a measure of quality.
What makes a name easy to remember?
Short, easy to spell after hearing it once, and distinct from competitors. Say it aloud on the phone test: if you have to spell it out twice, try another.
Do I need to check trademarks?
Yes. A free domain does not mean the name is free to use. Search the trademark register in your country and the main social networks before you commit.
