How to use the clinic and doctor website template
Build trust first
Patients choose a clinic quickly, so the first screen should answer three questions: who you are, what you treat and how to book. The template puts a clear headline, a booking button, opening hours and an emergency number at the top. Keep them, and edit the words to match your practice.
Customise the content
- Practice details. Replace "Cedar Clinic", the address, phone, email and opening hours in the top bar, footer and appointment page.
- Services. Six cards describe services. Rename them, rewrite the descriptions in plain language, and link each to a detail page if you create one.
- Doctors. Replace the three profile cards with your clinicians: photo, name, role and years of experience. Use real photographs, ideally with consent and consistent lighting.
- Prices. The sample price list on the services page is optional. Remove it if your fees vary, or keep it for transparency.
- Stories. Use genuine patient comments only when you have permission, and check your professional body's rules on testimonials.
The appointment form
The form asks for contact details, a service, a preferred doctor and a reason for the visit. Connect it to your booking software or a secure form provider by setting the action attribute. Keep the emergency notice so nobody uses the form for urgent care.
Colours and layout
The teal brand colour comes from variables in src/input.css. Edit them and rebuild the stylesheet with npx @tailwindcss/cli -i src/input.css -o assets/tailwind.css --minify. Pages are responsive and tested at phone and desktop widths.
Before you launch
Check spelling, qualifications and registration numbers, add a privacy policy page, and link a cookie notice if you use analytics. A map embed in the placeholder box helps patients find the building.
Frequently asked questions
Does the form store patient information?
No. It is a front-end design only. If you connect it to a backend, take care with health-data privacy rules in your country, such as HIPAA or GDPR, and avoid collecting clinical details through an ordinary email form.
Can I show these stock doctor photos?
Replace them with photos of your real team. The included images are stock photos from Unsplash for layout purposes, and presenting stock people as your actual staff would mislead patients.
Is it suitable for a dentist or specialist?
Yes. Rename the services, edit the price list and change the colour. The dental photo on the services page is a good fit for dental practices.
Is the template medical advice?
No. It contains only sample text. Add your own accurate, reviewed information and follow the advertising rules for healthcare in your region.
