How to use the certificate maker

Certificates for one person or a whole class

Pick a template, write your wording and download. For a group, switch to Bulk from CSV and let the tool produce every certificate at once.

Single certificate

  1. Choose Classic (double gold border), Modern (colour side band) or Minimal (thin frame).
  2. Type the recipient name and the course or reason.
  3. Edit the title, the line above the name and the body text. Use {{course}} in the body to insert the course.
  4. Add the organisation, date, up to two signatories and your logo, and pick an accent colour.
  5. Click Download PDF. The page is landscape A4.

Bulk from CSV

  1. Prepare a spreadsheet with a header row and a name column. Add more columns such as course or date if they differ per person.
  2. Save as CSV and load it, or paste the rows. The tool tells you how many recipients it found.
  3. Use {{column}} placeholders in the body text. A date column overrides the default date for that person.
  4. Choose One PDF (all) to print them together, or ZIP of PDFs to get one file per person.

Each certificate gets a running ID such as CERT-0001, which helps you verify authenticity later.

Tips

  • Long names shrink automatically so they stay on one line.
  • Print on 200 gsm paper or heavier, at 100% scale.
  • Test with two rows before running the full list.
  • Keep a copy of the CSV as your record of who received what.

Limits

PDF text supports Latin characters only. A batch is limited to 300 certificates because it is generated on your device.

Frequently asked questions

How does bulk generation work?

Paste or load a CSV whose first row is a header with a name column, for example name, course, date. Each following row becomes a certificate. Any column can be used in the wording as {{column}}.

One PDF or a zip?

One PDF puts every certificate on its own page, which is easiest to print. A zip contains a separate PDF per person, named after them, ready to email individually.

Is there a limit?

Up to 300 certificates per run, because everything is built in your browser. Split larger lists into batches.

Can I add a logo and signatures?

Yes. Upload a logo, and type up to two signatory names and titles. They print under signature lines; sign a printed copy or add your signature image later in any PDF editor.

Is my list of names uploaded?

No. The CSV is read in your browser and the PDFs are built on your device. Nothing leaves it.
