Bubu & Dudu Cozy Game Suite – 4 HTML5 Games in One: Co-op Platformer, Café, Puzzle Maze & Love Notes (Phaser 3)

The Bubu & Dudu Cozy Game Suite is four small, complete browser games in one web app, built by DEV3 Technologies with Phaser 3 and TypeScript. Players pick a game from a pastel hub; Paw Coins earned in any game go into one shared wallet.

Fan-made and unofficial. Bubu & Dudu are characters created by their original artist. This suite is a free, non-commercial tribute and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the creator. All character art is drawn in two source files (src/core/bears.ts and src/core/props.ts), so you can swap in your own characters before any commercial use.

The four games

• Bubu’s Midnight Snack Run: a co-op platformer for one or two players across 5 night-time levels. The Love Tether links the bears: more than 300 px apart they cry and move at half speed; within 120 px snacks score ×1.2, and staying close for 4 s grants a Heart Shield. Springs, checkpoints and dust bunnies to squash. Keys: WASD for Bubu, arrows for Dudu; on phones each bear gets its own touch pad.
• Dudu’s Cooking Chaos: a cozy café. Drag (or tap) ingredients onto plates, cook heart pancakes that turn golden and then burn, and serve panda, cat and bunny customers before their patience runs out. There is no hard fail: when Dudu cries, tap Bubu to feed him a Cheer Up Strawberry and every customer regains 30% patience. 8 recipes, and a shop for tables, wallpaper, hats and recipe unlocks.
• Bubu & Dudu’s Hug Maze: 15 asymmetric co-op puzzles on a 12 × 12 grid. Dudu pushes blocks and honey jars, Bubu squeezes through mouse holes, cushions slide until they hit something, and pressure plates open gates. Every level is proven solvable by a breadth-first solver, which also sets the 3-star par. Undo, restart, swipe controls and a level select.
• Love Notes & Room Decorator: decorate the bears’ room with 16 furniture items, then write a note with stationery and bear stickers. The note and the whole room become a share link (no server). Add a secret word and the note is encrypted with AES-GCM. When the link is opened, the bears walk in with an envelope that opens with music and floating hearts.

Built to be modified

• Each game is a pure, deterministic TypeScript engine (no DOM) plus a Phaser scene that only renders it, so rules are easy to change and test.
• No image or audio files: both bears (9 poses × 7 emotions × hats), every prop and the 5 music loops are generated in code. The client is about 385 KB gzipped plus the font, and art is painted at the screen’s own resolution so it stays sharp on phones and Retina displays.
• Levels are data: the platformer uses a tiny builder, the maze uses ASCII, and the tests tell you if a new level is impossible.

What's in the package

• Full TypeScript source, about 7,700 lines.
• 54 Vitest tests (solver-verified levels and pars, platformer reachability with the real jump physics, the Love Tether, the café rules and shop, and the share-link codec including encryption and hostile-input clamping) and 8 Playwright browser tests (every game, a high-DPI screen and a phone in landscape).
• HTML documentation and installation guide, Vercel and Netlify configs, and a GitHub Actions CI workflow.
