Nurses charted visits on paper in rural areas with poor connectivity and re-keyed them at the end of the day. Documentation lagged by up to 48 hours, errors were common and the paper trail did not meet HIPAA audit requirements.

Our solution

Offline-first data layer

Visit records are stored in an encrypted on-device database and synchronised in the background with field-level conflict rules.

  • Field-level AES-256 encryption for PHI, keys held in the device secure enclave.
  • Every read and write of PHI is audit-logged server-side.
  • Biometric unlock with automatic session expiry.
